How it works

What this tool shows you

  1. Enter a URL

A homepage (like https://www.example.co.nz/) checks the whole domain. Any other page URL checks just that page. A subdomain homepage (like https://shop.example.co.nz/) checks just that subdomain.

  2. Pick a country

Rankings are different in every country, so choose the market you care about. New Zealand is selected by default.

  3. Get the report

A summary of where the site ranks across organic results, ads, featured snippets, local packs and AI Overviews, plus the top 100 keywords by estimated traffic. Download it as CSV or Excel.

What the numbers mean

Position
Where the page ranks among results of the same type (for example, 3rd organic result). Arrows show movement since Google was last checked for that keyword.
Search volume
Average monthly Google searches for the keyword in the selected country, with the last 12 months shown as a mini chart.
Trend
How search volume has changed: last month vs the month before (M), last quarter vs the one before (Q), and vs the same time last year (Y).
Est. traffic
Estimated monthly visits from that keyword, worked out from search volume and the typical click-through rate for that position.
Traffic value
Roughly what that traffic would cost per month if you bought it with Google Ads, in US dollars.
Keyword difficulty
A 0 to 100 score for how hard it is to reach the top 10. Under 30 is usually achievable for an established site.
CPC and competition
What advertisers pay per click (US dollars) and how crowded the ad auction is. High CPC usually means high commercial value.
Intent
What the searcher most likely wants: information, to compare options (commercial), to buy (transactional) or to find a specific site (navigational).
Competing pages’ links
The average number of referring domains pointing at the pages ranking for that keyword. It shows how much link authority you’re up against, not the checked site’s own links.
AI Overview citation
The page is one of the sources linked in Google’s AI Overview for that search.
